Project Description
This project involves construction of a 112,167 square foot health sciences complex on the South campus to accommodate Nursing, Paramedic, Dental and Allied Health programs. The new three-storey facility includes labs, clinics, debriefing and breakout rooms, and classrooms.
Primary Areas of Benefit
- Expands or enhances utility of training space: The new facility meets the increasing demand for health sciences training and the high demand for graduates from programs such as Respiratory Therapy, Medical Radiation Technologists, Cardiopulmonary Technologist, Dietician and Physiotherapist Assistant. The centre accommodates Nursing, Paramedic and Allied Health program training.
