Project Description
This project involves renovating Building A at NorQuest College Campus. The renovation includes converting the basement, renovating the 8th floor and converting vacated space on another floor into classrooms. Further work includes undertaking deferred maintenance to systems, such as ventilation, heating, and safety and emergency.
Primary Areas of Benefit
- Expands or enhances the utility of training space: The additional classrooms and the various renovations improve the delivery of trades programs.
- Improves energy efficiency: Renovations and upgrades to the facility reduce emissions by 10%.
- Upgrades the health and safety aspects of facilities: Upgrades to the emergency systems improve the health and safety of the facility.
