Project Description

This project involves a campus-wide renovation to improve energy efficiency and build state-of-the-art research facilities for life sciences, chemistry and environmental sciences. The project involves installing new high efficiency windows and heat, ventilation and air conditioning system. Further work includes renovating the greenhouse and wet and dry labs, and improving the security and fire system.

Primary Areas of Benefit

  1. Expands or enhances utility of training space: The renovated space improves training facilities and the learning environment for students in life sciences, chemistry, and environmental sciences.
  2. Improves energy efficiency: The new windows and heat, ventilation and air conditioning system are estimated to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions by 20%.
  3. Upgrades health and safety aspects of facilities: Upgrades to the security and fire system improve health and safety of the campus.
