Hockey players and residents of South Stormont can enjoy the additions to the Long Sault Arena now that a renovation project has been completed.

Upgrades to the Long Sault Arena feature the addition of two new change rooms, including washroom and shower facilities. These upgrades will now provide female members of the local hockey team with a place to change.

Representatives from three levels of government were delighted to celebrate the arena improvements along with the co-ed hockey team at a ceremony held at the arena on February 4th.

More than $380,000, shared equally by the governments of Canada, Ontario and South Stormont, was invested in this project.
