Hockey and ringette teams, skaters and all residents of Belgrave will once again enjoy arena activities thanks to recent renovations of the Belgrave Arena.

Improvements to the arena included replacement of the floor and resurfacing of the rink area for a safer, smoother ice surface. New boards were installed and a new roll-up door to create better access to the arena.

Representatives from three levels of government were delighted to celebrate the arena improvements on May 22, 2010

The governments of Canada and Ontario each invested $64,500 and the Kinsmen Club of Belgrave contributed the balance of the total project cost of $215,000.
