Technological Solution
In this section, the applicant will provide a complete technical plan including the network configuration, network characteristics, equipment details and construction schedule.
Please refer to the Schedule 5 section of the Application Guide for a detailed description of the elements that must be included here.
Please note: The applicant must guarantee project completion by December 31, 2011 or earlier.
5.1 Please provide a narrative description of the proposed network supporting the proposed coverage. Must include geographical maps of network components, network speed and network diagrams.
5.2 Please provide the network configuration including the logical design of the network (diagram(s)), the geographic location of its physical elements (e.g. longitude and latitude for towers) and the plans to address scalability and enhanced services.
5.3 Please provide the network technical characteristics as described in the application guide.
5.4 Describe the quantities and types of equipment to be used at each installation, and proposed replacement strategies for damaged/outdated equipment.
5.5 A detailed schedule for the network construction must be provided in schedule 7 (Project Management).
