Canadian Aerospace Industry — Diagnostics, Prognostics and Health Management (DPHM)
Our objective is to enhance Canadian Aerospace and Defence sector competitiveness through coordinated and focused government/industry strategic interaction in the area of Diagnostics, Prognostics and Health Management (DPHM) for aircraft and aircraft systems.
The Canadian Space Strategy
The Canadian Space Strategy was approved by the Canadian Space Agency on November 12, 2003. It replaces the Long Term Space Plans as the framework that guides the Canadian Space Agency in leading Canada's national Space Program.
Global Partnership Program
Through a Partner Program, funding is available to facilitate partnership between industry and former weapons scientists and institutes to solve research and development needs and problems or to jointly develop and commercialize innovative technologies based on their ideas and programs.
Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) The Industrial Research Assistance Program was created in 1945 as a service of Canada's National Research Council.
Industrial Technologies Office (ITO)
The Industrial Technologies Office manages the Strategic Aerospace and Defence Initiative (SADI). This initiative supports private sector industrial research and pre-competitive development (R&D) in Canada's aerospace, defence, security and space (A&D) industries through repayable project contributions.
Defence Research and Development Canada
The Defence Research and Development Canada is the national authority for providing Science and Technology (S & T) leadership in the advancement and maintenance of Canada's defence capabilities.
NRC — Aerospace Manufacturing Technology Centre (AMTC)
To develop core competencies and demonstrate modern aerospace manufacturing technologies that have the potential for significant cost savings, while also maintaining high levels of quality, reliability and performance.
NRC — Institute for Aerospace Research IAR has many unique facilities which combined with the expertise of its 200 staff members contribute to dynamic research in aerodynamics, structures, materials, aeroacoustics, flight mechanics, airborne science, wind engineering, aeropropulsion, icing, and other related fields.
Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Systems (IRIS)
Promoting high-quality collaborative applied research in intelligent systems, thereby improving the competitiveness of Canadian firms.
Scientific Research and Experimental Development Program (SR&ED)
The purpose of this program is to provide income tax incentives to Canadian businesses that conduct scientific research and experimental development in Canada.
