The Aerospace, Defence and Marine Branch is responsible for developing and implementing policies, programs and services aimed at encouraging international competitiveness, innovation and sustainable growth in the aerospace, defence, space and marine sectors of the Canadian economy.
The Branch fulfills its mission by gathering and analysing sectoral and business intelligence from which it develops policies and strategies for promoting trade, attracting investment, advancing new technologies, and enhancing productivity and employee skill levels. The Branch also develops business intelligence information products for delivery to industry clients.
