Dominique says she sees a lot of opportunities for advancement in her career at Industry Canada. As a young professional and ambitious project officer, she thrives on Industry Canada’s active and challenging culture.

“Working closely with the Assistant Deputy Minister has allowed me to experience first hand how dynamic, exciting, energetic and efficient Industry Canada can be.”

Speaking from experience, Dominique knows that employees can move from one position to another and put their skills to work in more than one sector at Industry Canada. “There are a vast number of career opportunities and jobs to fit anyone’s career interests.”

Dominique’s career goal is to become an executive.  “Although I am not quite ready for that, Industry Canada is helping me to build a very strong foundation where I can see myself progressing and being ready to step up to that challenge”.

Dominique joined Industry Canada in September 2007.  She is also currently working to complete her MBA at the École des hautes études commerciales in Montreal.
