Archived — Notice on biological sequence listings

As of September 22, 2015, biological sequence listings for new applications entering the national phase will be automatically downloaded from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in the format(s) submitted during the international phase.

As a result, clients will no longer be required to provide these documents at the national entry phase.

Please note that any amendments to the biological sequence listings submitted after the national entry phase will still have to be provided to the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.

Should you have any questions, you can contact Andrée Patry, Manager – Operations Sector, at 819-635-3557 or at andree.patry@canada.ca.
