The revised guide to industrial designs is now online

The Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) published a revised guide to industrial designs on . This new version reflects Canada's implementation of the Hague Agreement and other changes to modernize Canada's industrial design regime.

This guide provides an introduction to industrial designs and their registration in Canada. It is intended for anyone who wants to understand the importance of industrial design rights, application requirements and the registration process both in Canada and through the Hague System.

The guide was developed in consultation with stakeholders whose feedback informed a number of revisions reflected in this version.
