Canadian Industry Statistics has been recently updated. If you have visited before, you will find some new features we hope will make it easier for you to find the information you need.
Changes and new features to the website include:
- Each industry now features a summary page that provides you with a short overview of all the available topics on one page.
- Based on feedback from clients, the site has been changed to provide a more intuitive and user friendly navigation. Information has been re-organized; some topics of the previous version have been merged. Topic name have been adjusted both to reflect the changes but also to make it easier for you to find the information you need.
- The search now includes a type-ahead feature that will automatically suggest the proper industry based on the text you type in. This will make it easier for you to find your industry.
- Site navigation has been changed to make it easier for you explore the industry statistics.
- You will find that the glossary has been enhanced and provides a more comprehensive list of terms.
- As a result of processing and methodology changes implemented by our data provider (Statistics Canada), you will find that some topics are no longer available and time series data is only available from 2013 forward.
