Services-Producing Industries (NAICS 41-91)
In Canadian Industry Statistics the Services-Producing sectors are defined according to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). NAICS divides the Canadian Economy into 20 sectors, with two divisions for largely goods-producing industries and entirely services-producing industries.
Services-Producing Sectors of the Canadian Economy
The sectors of the economy can be regrouped to form five largely goods-producing industries and fifteen services-producing industries.
The 15 economic sectors specified by the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) as services-producing industries are listed below. Links are to the official NAICS Canada 2007 definition of each sector.
