Subject: Dear Sir...
This is important to me because I'm a firm believer in the open source concept for software and other, potentially, copyrightable material. This proposal, if passed, will make things like linux VERY hard to exist as it does today as it makes it easier to copyright material that is supposed to be open source. This undermines the very concept of linux and other open source software. I feel it's important, if we are to avoid constant fights and cases concerning "You stole my software" that we do something about it. This is my voice in the democratic process. Please don't let this pass.
