Subject: The Copyright Act and the Internet
I see no reason why this would be required. Software companies have been making huge profits that haven't been mitigated by the Internet. All this act could do is inhibit the freedoms of the 'net more than they already are. For the love of god, don't just follow the US on this. All that will result is more oppression of citizens by large corporations. For that matter, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Driving honest companies like Napster into the ground isn't going to make anyone happier.
