Subject: Comment on the CPDCI
Hello,
I'm gravely concerned about the provisions in the Consultation Paper on Digital Copyright Issues which ban tools which can be used to bypass copy prevention technologies.
The United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act is fundamentally flawed and is highly criticized by intellectual and technical communities worldwide -- please don't allow Canada to follow that same path.
Freedom of speech must take precedence over corporate copyright interests.
Sincerely,
Cory Donnelly
