Subject: Proposition de changer la loi sur le droit d'auteur
Aux gouvernants du Canada
Il appert que vous voulez modifier la loi du droit d'auteur pour bannir plusieurs actes à la façon du Digital Millenium Copyright Act des EUA.
Bien que je favorise la protection de la propriété intellectuelle (j'en ai besoin), il appert que vos propositions soient trop restrictives pour être acceptables.
Je vous supplie d'abandonner cette entreprise ou à tout le moins de ne pas entreprendre un tel changement avant qu'il y ait eu un réel débat public sur la question. Et il n'y a pas eu à ce jour un tel débat au Canada.
