Subject: Consultation Paper on Digital Copyright Issues
Sirs,
It is regrettable that this request for comment was not more widely
publicized, so citizens likely to be greatly affected by changes to the
Copyright Act could digest the proposals and submit their comments.
While the time for comment has passed, I for one, would like to register a strong objection to any greater limitations on 'fair use' than are currently in place. The US DMCA is a travesty inflicted upon the public and overly favors the rich and 'powerful' corporate world over the consumer.
Sincerely,
Larry Marsden.
