Sustainable Development Strategy 2003–06

This book contains Industry Canada's new Sustainable Development Strategy for 2003–06, which is characterized by the theme of innovation and results. Three sustainable development strategic outcomes establish what the Department aims to achieve when the strategy's initiatives are implemented by December 2006. It seeks to further promote innovative eco-efficiency tools, practices and technologies in support of sustainable development; to expand the Department's contribution to the social dimension of sustainable development; and to present a more results-based performance measurement framework.
