Understand the process

When you are owed money

First, understand how bankruptcy works.

Then, submit a Proof of Claim form which you will receive from the Licensed Insolvency Trustee.

In the following situations, you need to take similar steps:


Find out if a bankruptcy or proposal has been filed

Search bankruptcy and insolvency records.

Note: There is a minimum charge of $8 per search.


Find out if money is owed to you

It's yours to claim

Money may have been collected for you during a bankruptcy but not paid out because you could not be found:

Note: There is a $30 fee for each unclaimed fund requested.
