In the following situations, you need to take similar steps:

You've received a consumer proposal—a plan by an individual who owes you money to modify his/her payments to you.
You've received a commercial proposal—a plan by a business that owes you money to modify its payments to you.
You've received notice of a filing under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA)—notice that a business that owes you money has filed for court protection.
