December 2011—If you know an outstanding educator who deserves national recognition, please consider submitting a nomination for the 2012 Prime Minister's Awards for Teaching Excellence.

Educators selected to receive the award will receive a certificate, a pin and a letter signed by the Prime Minister, along with a cash award of up to $5,000. The Recipients' schools are also honoured for their contribution to the educator's achievement.
