1.0 Inspection certificates
An inspection certificate is to be issued as required by the applicable legislation.
1.1 Electricity and gas
The accredited organization must issue a certificate meeting the requirements of section 21 of the Electricity and Gas Inspection Regulations. The requirements for a contractor's meter record system are delineated in section 11 of the regulations. The contractor's registration number must be included on the inspection certificate as per section 8.2.4 of this standard.
1.2 Weights and measures
1.2.1 Inspection certificates (examination certificates)
An examination certificate is to be issued as required by the Weights and Measures Act.
The Online Reporting Application (ORA) is to be used to issue device examination certificates. The use of this application is a requirement applicable to all weights and measures authorized service providers and an essential condition for the granting and maintenance of accreditation of weights and measures authorized service providers.
Authorized service providers must comply with the ORA Terms and Conditions of Use and submit online device examination data and test results for the issuance of device examination certificates.
