2011-01-07
The consultation period begins on January 7, 2011 and ends on February 21, 2011.
This consultation initiative will be of primary interest to Dealers, Authorized Service Providers and Traders involved in the procurement, distribution or installation of weighing and measuring machines intended for trade applications where installation can effect the performance of a device and, where the device has been initially inspected at a location other than its home base or first point of trade use.
The proposed general bulletin is intended to establish reporting criteria for new and used trade devices being put into service at a particular location for the first time.
Measurement Canada invites interested parties and industry stakeholders to participate in this consultation process and provide general comments respecting the new bulletin. Your comments on the proposed bulletin should be submitted in writing to the undersigned by February 21, 2011.
