Amendment of Measurement Canada Standard Drawings for Electricity Metering Installations
The purpose of this bulletin is to provide notification that Measurement Canada has revised the Agency's Specifications for the Installation and Use of Electricity Meters, Appendix A — Standard Drawings for Electricity Metering Installations (S-E-08).The document has been amended to remove drawings depicting meters that contravene MC policy bulletin E-24, Policy on Approval and Use of 2½ Element Metering, drawings of outdated measurement techniques, and drawings of meters that are now obsolete due to their vintage (legacy drawings). Additional changes have been made to correct minor errors and add missing information.
The updated Standard Drawings (Appendix A, rev. 2) are available electronically on the Agency web site as at present. The complete set of drawings (including legacy drawings) will continue to be available by request through local Measurement Canada regional offices.
