Consultation — Bulletin V-29—Legislative Rulings and Interpretations
Bulletin V-29—Legislative Rulings and Interpretations
Measurement Canada is launching a consultation on proposed additions to Bulletin V-29 – Legislative Rulings and Interpretations. This consultation will be of interest to all those who own, operate or play a role in the design, development, programming, installation, inspection or maintenance of volumetric metering systems and software that are intended for use in the Canadian marketplace and subject to the Weights and Measures Legislation. The consultation period starts on August 27, 2012 and ends on September 21, 2012.
The primary purpose of this revision is to add two new sections. Section 5.7 provides an interpretation of the phrase "on demand for inspection purposes" and section 5.8 allows for the use of non-approved secondary means of indication.
Measurement Canada invites interested parties and industry stakeholders to provide general comments on the proposed additions to this bulletin. Please submit your comments in writing to the undersigned by September 21, 2010.
