Just a reminder to ensure your weighing and measuring devices are inspected according to their required recertification frequency. You can check your last examination certificate or the inspection sticker on your device to see when your next mandatory inspection is due.
If your devices are not recertified in accordance with the mandatory inspection frequencies you could be subject to enforcement action. Measurement Canada employs a graduated enforcement approach to ensure device compliance. Failure to comply with mandatory recertification requirements could result in financial penalties and/or the removal of your device(s) from service.
