Bruce Power
Bruce Power is Canada's first private nuclear generating company and the source of more

Canadian Neutron Beam Centre — National Research Council of Canada
The National Research Council is a leading national science agency that falls within the
portfolio of Industry Canada. The National Research Council operates the Canadian Neutron
Beam Centre (CNBC), which relies on the National Research Universal Reactor at the Chalk
River Laboratories. The CNBC manages a unique resource for materials research and
development, through neutron beam methodologies. It is open for access by universities,
industry, government and foreign research institutions. Access is granted free of charge for
research in the public domain, subject to approval by peer review of scientific merit. Access
for proprietary research is arranged through a fee-for-service agreement on a basis of full cost
recovery. Industry clients come from sectors such as nuclear, aerospace, automotive and
manufacturing. The CNBC provide non-destructive mapping of residual stresses inside intact
engineering components, as well as other diffraction-based analyses, such as crystallographic
texture and phase compositions in a wide range of materials, including metals, alloys,
composites and ceramics.

Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission
The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) regulates the use of nuclear energy and
materials to protect the health, safety and security of Canadians and the environment; and to
