On behalf of Industry Canada, it is my pleasure to present the 2009–2010 edition of the Canadian Nuclear Industry Capabilities (CNIC) Guide. The CNIC Guide responds to the global resurgence in the demand for nuclear power generation by providing stakeholders with an annual directory of Canada's world leading nuclear supplier industry. The more than 130 nuclear companies and associations profiled in this year's guide represent Canada's high-tech, experienced industry and have consistently achieved excellence at home and abroad. These export-ready firms have a proven performance track record and stand ready to support demand in every nuclear power market in the world. As an upgrade to the inaugural edition, I am pleased to offer profiles of several Government of Canada departments and agencies that are actively engaged in nuclear policy development and provide business services to the nuclear industry. I encourage you to discover the very best of what Canada has to offer.
