As of January 23, 2015, customers of these services are no longer required to give 30-days notice before cancelling their service. Your service provider must now cancel your Internet services as soon as it receives your notice of cancellation (unless you request a later cancellation date).

    This applies to:

    • Home telephone and wireless services
    • Internet services
    • Television services

For more information, visit the website of the CRTC and read more about changing your service provider.
