Philosophy of Care
Good teaching comes from a good environment in a well set up teaching space, planned experiences and the teacher facilitating opportunities for children to practise new skills.
Support of Child Development
- Provide children with a wide range of activities targeting all areas of development. The team constructs the materials that are not otherwise available.
- Support toddlers' social skills by providing warmth and humour that gives children the security they need to engage in autonomous activities, such as dressing, tidying their toys and doing the dishes.
Involvement with Parents, Families and the Community
- Parents are invited to share home experiences by bringing photos, telling stories and sharing food at socials held every few months for the children and their families.
- Parents are invited to a yearly curriculum night, as well as to workshops on matters such as behaviourial guidance, toilet training and healthy eating.
"They are attuned to my child's communication, verbal or otherwise. I sense that they know and appreciate my child—his abilities, his interests and his passions—he thrives in their classroom environment." Parent
"Having worked in the early learning and care profession for over thirty years, I cannot tell you how significant it is to have a team that works so collaboratively." Colleague
