Gillian Vas
Gillian Vas teaches mathematics and science to students in grades 4 through 9 at Wrentham School in Wrentham. To spark greater enthusiasm for mathematics, she developed a program that uses a hands-on approach, deals with math in a real-life context and incorporates writing skills. Students involved have developed a new awareness of the importance of mathematics in their lives.
