Frank Borowski is a chemistry teacher at Grant Park High School in Winnipeg. Mr. Borowski established the Advanced Placement Chemistry program at the school. This program involves seminars, laboratory experiments, demonstrations and lectures at the Universities of Manitoba and Winnipeg. In addition, students spend many hours after school working at the university laboratories to gain the necessary experience to write the advanced placement exams. Many of his students have been so accomplished they were accepted directly into second-year university science courses, and many have received Canada Scholarships for academic excellence in science, technology, and related disciplines.
