Nicole St-Amant Roussin

Nicole St-Amant Roussin teaches kindergarten at École Fernand-Seguin in Ste-Foy. She developed a teaching method called L'Enfant-loupe (The Child Scientist) which is based on children's natural curiosity about the world around them. She advocates a method of teaching which gradually introduces the scientific approach (questioning, experimenting, drawing logical conclusions), while stressing the importance of observation using the five senses.
