Mia Delorme's Grade 7 and 8 students at Gregory A. Hogan School in Sarnia, Ontario organize all aspects of a pizza lunch for the school once a month and learn about accounting, statistics and math all at once. As well as making math relevant for her students, Mrs. Delorme is a positive role model for girls in her class who see that it is possible for them to have a career involving science, math or technology.
