Microcomputers and other pieces of high technology equipment are an integral part of the learning experience at Sir Wilfred Laurier Secondary School in Orleans, Ontario and throughout the Carleton Board of Education thanks to the efforts of Kerry Chalmers. As Creative Technologies Department Head at Laurier, Mr. Chalmers spearheaded the development and construction of the schoolþs Creative Technologies Centre. Working with the board, he oversaw the installation of microcomputers in the schools and the training of nearly 45,000 students and teachers.
