Rodica Motora
Rodica Motora is finally receiving the recognition her many students think she so richly deserves. In receiving a Prime Minister's Award, Ms. Motora, a mathematics and science teacher at École Secondaire Publique De La Salle, in Ottawa, Ontario, is also receiving the appreciation of many young people who have gone from her classroom on to university studies in science and engineering. No fewer than 40 Canada Scholars have been taught by Ms. Motora since 1988.
