Students from a wide variety of racial and socio-economic backgrounds benefit from the support and high-quality teaching they receive from David Racine, Mathematics Department Head at West Hill Collegiate Institute in Scarborough, Ontario. Math marks and the school's performance in competitions has greatly improved under Mr. Racine's guidance. As well, many girls are succeeding in high school math and earning scholarships for university.
