Teaching Approach:
- A student should never not know how they are doing or where they can improve. And help should always be available: there is always more time, more that can be done and always something else to try to enhance a child's learning.
- Individual learning is about being part of the community. Mrs. Virostek's students do not just acquire knowledge, they also learn to be responsible, to show leadership, to manage time effectively and to work to make Enchant School a better place.
Outstanding Achievements:
- Her students consistently achieve above the provincial average in both mathematics and social studies. Her class results have been 35 percent above the provincial standard for acceptable achievement and 15 percent above the standard for excellence.
- Organized the University of Waterloo GOS mathematics competition for the school district.
