Special Operating Agency Logos

In addition to their special operating agency (SOA) FIP signatures, four of Industry Canada's five SOAs — Canadian Intellectual Property Office, Communications Research Centre Canada, Measurement Canada and Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada — have approved logos they may use on their communications materials. A fifth special operating agency, the Industrial Technologies Office, does not use any identifier other than it's SOA FIP signature.

The four approved SOA logos are shown below. Always use SOA logos in association with the "Canada" wordmark and the appropriate SOA FIP signature.

Only reproduce the SOA logos from the electronic artwork files available from Communications and Marketing Branch.

Each SOA has developed rules and standards for its logo in consultation with Communications and Marketing Branch and Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. For appropriate uses of SOA logos, see Procedures.
