Low Cost Country Sourcing — Canadian Retail and Consumer Product Goods
Industry Canada partnered with the Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Canada (SCL), the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Association (CME) and the Retail Council of Canada to develop research on global sourcing. The analysis allows manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers to better understand the current trends and to benchmark certain key performance indicators of low cost country sourcing within their own specific sector. These reports identifies industry perspectives, issues and drivers pertaining to LCCS and supply chain agility which enables policy makers to more effectively develop policies that respond to current and future industry needs. Logistics SCM KPI Analysis — Retail and Consumer Product Goods
The objective of this study is to propose a Logistics and SCM key performance indicators (KPI) analysis that can be used as a benchmarking tool for firms and policy makers. This analysis will help firms understand where they are located with respect to leading enterprises, as well as firms within their own sector and the U.S and what steps they must undertake in order to become more competitive.
