Notice No. SMSE-008-97 – Telecommunications Act

Notice is hereby given that Industry Canada is releasing a provisional requirements document titled "Provisional Requirements and Test Methods for Asymetrical Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) Terminal Equipment", PROV-ADSL, dated November 15, 1997. The release of this document makes ADSL terminal equipment eligible for certification under the Terminal Attachment Programme. This document is effective as of November 15, 1997. These requirements have been declared provisional until November 15, 1999.
