Gazette Notice SMSE-009-97 – Category II Equipment Standards List – Interference-Causing Equipment Standard (ICES)
Notice is hereby given that Industry Canada is amending the Category II Equipment Standards List by replacing Interference-Causing Equipment Standard for Digital Apparatus, ICES-003 Issue 2 Revision 1 with ICES-003, Issue 3.
A draft of ICES-003, Issue 3 was released for public consultation in August of 1997. The final published version has taken account of comments received resulting from the public consultation. Its effective date is the date of this Gazette Notice, which publishes the Category II Equipment Standards List as amended by the inclusion of ICES-003, Issue 3. The amended Category II Equipment List appears below.
Category II Equipment Standards List (BETS-3)
Broadcasting Equipment Technical Standards 3, Issue 1: Requirements for Radio Apparatus that Form Part of a Master Antenna Television (MATV) Broadcasting Undertaking.
(BETS-7) Broadcasting Equipment Technical Standards 7, Issue 1: Requirements for Radio Apparatus Capable of Receiving Broadcasting.
ICES-001, Issue 2: Interference-Causing Equipment Standard for Industrial, Scientific and Medical Radio Frequency Generators.
ICES-002, Issue 2: Interference-Causing Equipment Standard for Spark Ignition Systems of Vehicles and Other Devices Equipped With Internal Combustion Engines.
ICES-003, Issue 3: Interference-Causing Equipment Standard for Digital Apparatus.
This standard replaces ICES-003, Issue 2, Revision 1.
ICES-004, Issue 1: Interference-Causing Equipment Standard for Alternating Current High Voltage Power Systems.
RSS-210, Issue 2: Low Power Licence-Exempt Radiocommunication Devices.
