Notice No. SMSE-007-97

Notice is hereby given that Industry Canada is releasing the following equipment standards documents:

1. Radio Standards Specification 133 (RSS-133), Issue 1 (Provisional): GHz Personal Communications Services.

2. Radio Standards Specification 137 (RSS-137), Issue 1 (Provisional): Location and Monitoring Service (902 - 928 MHz).

3. Standard Radio System Plan 510 (SRSP-510), Issue 1: Technical Requirements for Personal Communications Services in the Bands 1850-1910 MHz and 1930-1990 MHz.

The following document has also been amended by deleting section 5.6 (Antenna Polarization):

4. Standard Radio System Plan 503 (SRSP-503), Issue 4: Technical Requirements for Cellular Radiotelephone Systems Operating in the Bands 824-849 MHz and 869-894 MHz.

These standards are effective as of this date. Interested parties may submit comments on the above documents to the:

within three months of the date of publication of this notice. All representations must cite the Canada Gazette Part I, publication date, and the Notice reference number. Any comments received will be taken into account following which a new issue may be published.

All written comments received in response to this notice will be available for public viewing during normal business hours at the Industry Canada Library, 2nd floor, 365 Laurier Avenue West, Ottawa, or from one of Industry Canada offices in Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal and Moncton, for a period of 12 months from the date of receipt of the comments.
