Consultation on the 24 and 38 GHz Frequency Bands: Proposed Policy and Licensing Procedures

The availability of the document Consultation on the 24 and 38 GHz Frequency Bands: Proposed Policy and Licensing Procedures was announced in Canada Gazette Notice DGRB-003-98 on Saturday, August 28, 1998. This consultation provided for a response period to December 4, 1998, and a reply comment period to January 15, 1999.

The purpose of this Notice is to advise all interested parties that the deadline for receipt of reply comments has been extended to Friday, January 29, 1999.

Reply comments submitted should be prefaced by the statement: "Reply Comments in response to the consultation on 24 GHz and 38 GHz". Respondents are urged to provide their reply comments in electronic format (WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF or ASCII TXT) to facilitate posting on the Department's web site. Documents submitted via electronic media should be sent with a note specifying the software, version number and operating system used. All submissions should cite Canada Gazette Notice reference number DGRB-003-98.
