Dear Mr. Simmonds:

This is in response to your letter dated January 6, 1999 providing additional information concerning your application for temporary relief from the spectrum cap in the Golden Horseshoe Area of Ontario.

We have reviewed the information provided in this letter and the original application, along with information on file in the Department. Clearnet has also committed to provide to the Department in the next few days, on a confidential basis, information concerning the current and projected traffic at certain locations of their system. We are of the opinion that, with this additional information and any further comment which may be forthcoming from interested parties, we will have sufficient information to reach a decision on your application.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Yours truly,
