Radiocommunication Act
Notice No. SMSE-002-00
This Notice announces the release of the following Standard Radio System Plans (SRSP):
- Technical Requirements for Stations
in the Fixed Service Operating in the 2150 to 2160 MHz and 2500 to
2690 MHz Bands, (SRSP-302.5, Issue 2). This SRSP states the technical requirements for Multipoint Communications
Systems in the fixed service, including one-way and two-way video
and data (e.g. instructional television, video conferencing,
multimedia), operating in the bands 2150-2160 MHz and 2500-2690 MHz.
- SRSP-302.5, Issue 2 replaces SRSP-302.5, Issue 1, and was modified
to reflect the revised utilisation policies contained in the
document: "2500 MHz Multipoint Communications Systems —
Policy and Licensing Procedures", released under Gazette
Notice DGRB-006-99.
- Technical Requirements for Fixed
Wireless Access Systems Operating in the band 3400-3700 MHz, (SRSP-303.4, Issue 1). This SRSP states the
minimum technical requirements for efficient use of the frequency
band 3400-3700 MHz for fixed wireless access systems.
- Technical Requirements for Fixed
Radio Systems Operating in the Bands 24.25-24.45 and 25.05-25.25 GHz, (SRSP-324.25, Issue 1). This SRSP states the
minimum technical requirements for efficient use of the frequency
bands 24.25-24.45 GHz and 25.05-25.25 GHz for digital systems in
the fixed service for broadband wireless applications, including point-to-point and point-to-multipoint systems.
- Technical Requirements for Local
Multipoint Communication Systems (LMCS) Operating in the Band 25.35-28.35 GHz, (SRSP-325.35, Issue 1). This SRSP states the minimum technical requirements for efficient use of the
frequency band 25.35-28.35 GHz for LMCS.
- Technical Requirements for Fixed Radio Systems Operating in the Bands 38.6-40.0 GHz, (SRSP-338.6, Issue 1). This SRSP states the minimum technical requirements for efficient use of the frequency band 38.6-40.0 GHz for digital systems in the fixed service for broadband wireless applications, including point-to-point and point-to-multipoint systems.
The new SRSPs state the minimum technical and where appropriate, coordination requirements for the corresponding frequency bands.
