Notice is hereby given that Industry Canada is releasing Amendment 5, to Issue 8 of Certification Procedure 01 (CP-01) as well as Amendment 4 of the Certification Specification 03 (CS-03), Issue 8 dated February 24, 2001. The first amendment to CP-01 is a change in the marking format for certified terminal attachment equipment. The second amendment to CP-01 is a collection of editorial changes and a change to allow for other types of DSL equipment. The amendment to CS-03 provides the inclusion of HDSL2 in Part 8, updates section 5 of Part 1 on inside wiring, and makes editorial changes.
Amendment 4 to CS-03 is included in the Technical Specifications List as part of Certification Specification CS-03.

All representations should cite the Canada Gazette Part I Notice publication date, title and the Notice reference number.
All written comments received in response to this notice will be available for public viewing during normal business hours at the Industry Canada Library, 3rd Floor, West Tower, 235 Queen Street, Ottawa and at the regional offices of Industry Canada in Moncton, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg and Vancouver for a period of one year from the date of receipt of those comments.
