Notice No. STITQ-001-2001 — Radio Apparatus Forfeiture - 9058-3675 Québec Inc.

Notice is hereby given that radio apparatus listed below was forfeited on September 19, 2001, under subsections 13(1) and 13(2) of the Radiocommunication Act by order of the Associated Regional Director, Quebec Region, Industry Canada, pursuant to his authority as delegated by the Minister of Industry on January 6, 2000. The radio apparatus was related to prosecution of 9058-3675 Quebec Inc. of St-Bruno de Guigues, Quebec, (hereinafter referred to as "the accused") for a breach of subsection 4(1) and paragraph 10(1)(a) of the Radiocommunication Act. The accused was found guilty of the offence in the Quebec Court on August 15, 2001.

Equipment Forfeited

Yaesu transceiver, model: FT-2600M /serial Nº: 01230134 and the owner's manual.

Any person having a claim as rightful owner, mortgagee, lien holder or holder of any like interest, on the forfeited item may, within 30 days of the date of this issue of the Canada Gazette, contest the forfeiture order by complying with the provisions of subsection 13(3) of the Act.

For the purpose of subsection 13(4), the notice of the application and date of hearing may be served on the Minister by sending such notice to the Director, Spectrum Operations, Industry Canada, Room 620, Stock Exchange Tower, 800 Square Victoria, P.O. Box 398, Montreal, Quebec, H4Z 1J2.
