Dear Mr. Bitove:

I refer to your letter to Industry Canada of November 15, 2006 stating an interest in applying for licences pursuant to Industry Canada's Canada Gazette notice DGRB-001-06 – Call for Applications to License Satellite Orbital Positions (the Call).

As set out in section 8.5 of the Call, the deadline for submitting applications in the licensing process was November 15, 2006. As you have not submitted an application within this deadline, Industry Canada will not consider your expression of interest.

When this licensing process is concluded, Industry Canada will announce the process to be used to assign any remaining licences. I would invite you to consider participating in such a process.
